How to choose the most appropriate publication mode?

Calaméo offers two publication modes for your document: Public and Private.

A public publication can be accessed by anyone, while a private publication can only be viewed by selected contacts or by your subscribers (for PREMIUM accounts only).

If you want your publication to be freely available to Internet users, select the “Public” publication mode.

If you want to restrict access to your publication to selected contacts or to your subscribers (for PREMIUM accounts only), select the "Private" publication mode.
