BIOGRAPHIES Marilyn Laufer, Director Marilyn Laufer was hired to serve as interim co-director of the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University. In 2007 she was named director of the museum. Laufer graduated from Douglass College of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then went on to get her Ph. D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. In 1996 Laufer became an instructor in the Auburn University Art Department and worked as a guest curator and guest program coordinator at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia. Cindy Cox, Development Coordinator Cindy Cox became the membership officer of the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art in 2012.
