consultation on designation of
quiet areas and noise action
planning areas.
The move follows publication
of noise action plans (Noise
Bulletin November 2008 p1).
The latest guidance is intended
to provide more detail on the
actual designation of both quiet
and noisy areas.

Wales at the forefront of quiet
area designation in the UK.
