Venise, 26 octobre 1967. Vanni Ronsisvalle filme la rencontre lumineuse entre deux des grands poètes du 20è siècle : Ezra Pound et Pier Paolo Pasolini. Quelques mois plus tard, le résultat sort sous le titre Un'ora con Ezra Pound, un documentaire de 50 minutes, bien rarement projeté sur les toiles. Ce fut le cas le 21 juin 1989, sous la Pyramide du Louvre. Marc-Édouard Nabe, également poète, était dans la salle.
In this rare recording from 1939, Ezra Pound gives a passionate reading of his early work about a warmongering 12th century troubadour, a poem called Sestina: Altaforte.
The poem was written in early 1909, when Pound was an ambitious 23-year-old American living in London.
