AuthorRank is expected to work in collaboration with PageRank to provide searchers with relevant, high-quality results, and some people are saying that AuthorRank could have more of an impact on search engine results than all of the Panda updates up to this point. What is AuthorRank? Basically, AuthorRank is expected to be a rating of an individual’s expertise on a certain subject. It will work in collaboration with PageRank to create high-quality search engine results listings. Essentially, it will ensure that authors who consistently create thought-provoking content are rewarded for their efforts, and that web developers will be willing to pay for somebody with high Author Rankings to post on their website. Less
