Dunbar McInley?s annual Green Week saw employees, MDs and CEOs globally working
together to raise awareness of environmental issues, reduce energy and create
new sustainable product ideas.
The second annual Green Week planned by Dunbar
McInley (October 10-15) exceeded all expectations, according to Chairman Lucas
Howard, with employees uniting to make a positive impact on the environment.
Dunbar McInley has offices in Seattle, London and Hong Kong and employs over 400
staff.
Green Week took place for the first time in October 2010, and became an instant
hit with employees.
Events include the Facilities Managers challenge to reduce energy consumption in
their own offices, the Thailand Cycle Challenge, where every mile cycled
translated to a £1 donation for the Thailand Flood Appeal (£2469 raised) and the
Green Product competition, which encourages staff to suggest new ideas for
sustainable products and services.
