Abstract
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is universally acknowledged as an important catalyst
for social transformation and national progress.
India, a successful ICT powered nation, has always laid a
lot of accent on the use of ICT, not only for good governance but also in diverse sectors of the economy
such as health, agriculture, education etc.
The present study has been conducted among the school-going
children of Sambalpur, a small city in the western part of Orissa, India.
The paper discusses a very vital
contribution of ICT in the field of education that is, easy access to learning resources.
