LAGSTAFF, Ariz.—When
Marijosse Navarro graduated 18
months early from San Antonio
Reagan, coach Brent McCuiston said this:
“There are very few coaches in any
sport who will have the opportunity to be
associated with the talent that Marijosse
has. I’m lucky to go along for the ride.”
Before her 18th birthday, Navarro is
already entering her sophomore year at
Texas A&M and finished sixth at the
NCAA Championships in May. She has
won the Mexican Women’s Amateur
three times. In September, she will play
for Mexico in the World Amateur Team
Championships for the third time.
