allas-based teaching pro Hank Haney
in May resigned his role as teacher of
one of the game’s greatest players.
Haney had been the swing coach for Tiger
Woods for the past six years—ever since Woods
left the tutelage of Butch Harmon.
The move
catapulted Haney into instant fame as he coached
Tiger to six majors.
“Hank Haney and I have agreed that he will
no longer be my coach,” Woods said on his
website.
“Hank is an outstanding teacher and has
been a great help to me, but equally importantly
he is a friend.
That will not change.
I would like
to thank him for all he has done for me the past
six years.
”
