LPGA star returns after triple gold medal performance in 2003
PGA sensation Paula Creamer will captain the U.
S.
team at The
2009 Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship, which will
be played Nov.
1-8 at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity.
The world’s second-ranked women’s player is coming off a banner
year, highlighted by four LPGA Tour victories and more than $1.

in earnings.
Creamer also became the fastest player in LPGA history to
exceed the $4 million and $5 million mark in career earnings.
Creamer returns to The Spirit after leading the USA team to the
International Team title in 2003.
Paula also won gold medals in the
women’s team and individual competition.
She matched the impressive
accomplishment of fellow LPGA star Lorena Ochoa who was a triple gold
medalist at the inaugural Spirit event in 2001.
