statement I found myself saying over and again in June.
From the
first tee shot on the practice range at the U.
S.
Open, I knew the
week would be special.
It’s always a fun feeling to walk into the locker
room and see names like Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson.
I quickly found my locker and changed my shoes, eager to play
Pebble for the first time.
After a quick warm-up, I met Lucas Glover,
David Toms and Charles Warren on the first tee.
To my surprise, there
were about 5,000 people surrounding the tee for a Monday practice
round! After being announced by the starter, I smoked a 3-wood right
down the middle.
