Then, somewhat surprisingly, you pass a hospital. Farther down, a golf course comes into view. Unlike the hospital, though, the golf course looks as though it should be there. As you drive past a few holes along the highway, you come across a sign welcoming you to “Squaw Valley. ” Located about 60 miles southwest of the Metroplex, the 36-hole, public course is one of the more unique golf facilities in Texas.
