Two RBA Cheer Squads Each Win 1st Place in 8-State
Competition—On to Nationals at Disney World!
Charlotte: Last summer, members of
The Roger Bacon Pop Warner team and
the Cheer squad visited the Carolina
Panthers for an exhibition game and
work-out on a professional field as a
reward for their super season.
As you may recall, the Cheer Squad won
the local competition, placed second in
the regional competition in Huntsville,
Alabama, and went to the nationals in
Orlando where they placed ninth in the
country.
This year over 200 students signed up
and competed on five Pop Warner football team
