California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu email from pro per litigant raising concerns about unethical conduct by Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye in connection with her unilateral summary denial of a petition for review. The petition challenged policies and procedures of the 3rd District Court of Appeal in Sacramento, posing a conflict of interest with Cantil-Sakauye who was elevated from the Third District and was involved with the policies and procedures at issue. Cantil-Sakauye was previously a Sacramento Family Court judge, a court with a documented history of corruption and unacknowledged conflict of interest problems between judges and judge pro tem attorneys.
