As I announce my candidacy for re-election to
the office of Circuit and County
Clerk, I would
like to begin by
humbly thanking the people of
Calhoun County
for allowing me
to serve as your
clerk.
I count it a
privilege to serve
you and if elected
will continue to
do this job to the
best of my abilities.
Before being
elected Clerk in
1996, I was fortunate to have worked as
Chief Deputy Clerk under the
leadership of Harold Watson
for sixteen years.
I have approached the jobs of Circuit
and County Clerk with the
work ethic learned from my
Mother, who instilled in me
that a job worth doing was a
job worth doing well and to
the best of my ability.
The Office of Circuit
and County Clerk is so much
more than simple accounting or bookkeeping.
It is a
dual office which means you
have both Circuit and County
Clerk responsibilities.
