Reaching out to street kids
An update on the work of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation
Vietnam – June 2011
Outreach Appeal: Help kids
with no one else to turn to.

Every week, Blue Dragon provides a helping hand to
an average of 7 new children aged 10 to 16.
In May
we launched an exciting Appeal, looking to double the
number of kids we reach and to expand the range of
services we can offer them.
With more funds, we will employ two more Outreach
Workers and buy a second hand car.
With extra staff
on the ground, we will be able to access kids we
couldn’t reach before.
The car will be used to reunite
kids with their families in the countryside and to
support them through follow-up visits.
We’ve already raised a lot, but we’ve still got some
way to go.
We are asking all our friends to keep the
support coming.
So far we’ve received 43,436 AUD in
donations, but we need an additional 23,564 AUD to
reach our goal of 67,000 AUD.
