TORONTO, ON -The Learning Disabilities Association of Toronto District (LDATD) is
well underway with making changes to its communications and social media plans.
Beginning June 2011, the LDATD has started to use social networking sites as a
platform to reach out to parents, teachers, youth and the community.
Facebook and Twitter have become the first of the many social networks that the
LDATD will be engaging in.
With the amount of users on Facebook and Twitter, all
ranging in various ages and physical abilities, the LDATD hopes to accomplish its
communications goals to promote enhanced learning.
The LDATD YouTube channel will also bring that communication forward by visually
demonstrating how the LDATD can have a positive impact on those suffering from
disabilities, and those who wish to help.
Members have continued to benefit from programs by the LDATD, which can be found on
the organizations website and social media outlets.
