The National Hero Jose P.
Rizal once said that the youth is the future of our land.
These words echoed in
future generations with passion and meaning.
However, as time passes that passion may no longer be as
what it was supposed to be a hundred years ago.
Today, the young ones have come astray to the path of
which society and their respective family has chosen in their behalf.
Though it hurts to say but today, our
hero’s words have not reached the majority of our young ones.
The young ones of today have largely
participated on activities such as social misconduct and etc.
And so, we are now faced with the bigger
question; what is to become the future if this is the young ones we are presented today?
The future is a constant battle to be won by today, or so I believe.
100 years ago the Katiponeros, along
with our Heroes, were our warriors who fought valiantly and bravely for our future.
