A Remedy or a Problem
One more grade in the elementary level is planned and will soon be implemented in the
country.
Dep Ed is now on its way to implement grade 7.
Included in the plan is the possibility to
add one more year in the secondary level.
Adding one year either in the elementary or secondary
level can then be a remedy to improve the educative process.
In effect the explanation and in turn
pause its way to an economic problem among parents for the additional expenditures.
As an educator, the present elementary and secondary curricular programs essentially needs
some concrete developmental mechanism such as the proposal one year in either levels.
It is
already a fact that basic education in other countries abroad is seven years in the elementary or
fifth year in the secondary level.
As envisioned these countries seek to improve the preparedness
and readiness of the younger population in terms of better and quality based education.
