The Caped Crusader was co-produced by artist Bob Kane and writer
Bill Finger and initial appeared in Detective Comics No.
27, in May 1939.
A year later on, the
character acquired his individual comic book, Batman, and soon grew to become 1 of the most
well-liked super heroes around.
Batman lives in the fictional city of Gotham Metropolis and is assisted in his crime fighting by
different characters, like his sidekick Robin, his butler Alfred and fellow tremendous hero, Batgirl.
