There was real excitement at Ecclesfield as we all
returned to work at the start of September.
Not only was
there the usual buzz but this was heightened by the
changes in the school that had occurred
over the summer.
We were all encouraged by the continued improvements
in our examination results with increases in all of our
major performance indicators – 5A*-C grades, 5A*-C
grades including English and Maths, and it was
tremendous to see the performance of our most able
students take a significant step forward.
This is the sixth
year in succession that Ecclesfield has moved forward its
results.
The same spirit of continuous improvement has always
influenced the school’s approach to the facilities it
provides for its students and over the summer, there has
been massive investment once again.
