Four teams have already been sent home
after being eliminated from the
Conference USA title tournament after
play got underway at the Don Haskins
Center in El Paso, Texas on Wednesday.
Four more will be sent home on
Thursday.
While the top-seeded UAB Blazers are considered the college basketball betting favorites
to win the tournament, they are anything but a lock to take the title.
This March Madness season is simply scorching for everyone who has placed their
own wagers.
The Blazers are expected to face their first test on Thursday when they take on the East
Carolina Pirates, after the latter knocked off the UCF Knights to earn their spot in the
second round.
Darrius Morrow led the
Pirates with a double-double to help them clinch a double-digit victory, but they will
have little time to prepare for the much tougher Blazers with game time set for 11 AM ET
on Thursday morning.
