Normally, we wouldn’t give that much importance to our skin, since, well,
it’s just there.
But in reality, it has served us well throughout the years.
Maybe it’s about time we give it the skin care it deserves.
We have been taught that the skin is the body’s largest organ and it consists
of different layers.
In case you’ve missed it or the teacher might have
forgotten to tell you, the skin as well as its layers is actually the main
components of the integumentary system.
In school, we have been taught about muscular, skeletal, circulatory,
digestive, nervous, and all the other systems inside our bodies.
The external
system or the integumentary system that covers all of these internal bodily
systems has been disregarded in the school textbooks.
Why is Skin Care Very Important?
Skin care is very important because it helps maintain a healthy skin.
