Symptoms of autism
syndrom usually appear during the first three years of childhood and continue through life.
Children are social creatures who like to smile, laugh, cuddle and play.
But there are also
children taht seem to exist in their own world, where there are repetitive routines, odd
behaviors, comunication problems or total lack of social awarness or interest in others.
A child with autism syndrome who goes to school is generally withdrawn and he will not
even make eye contact.
Many cildren engage in repetitive movements such as rocking and
hair twirling in self-injurious behavior such as biting or head-banging.
