Primary liver cancer starts from the liver while metastatic starts from other organ then
metastasize to liver organ.
Cancer of the liver is the considered as sixth most common type of cancer in men and women are the eleventh most
affected globally, it affects 250,000 to more than a million persons annually and is becoming more common in the US.
It is
10 times more common in Africa and Asia where cancer of the liver is the most common type of cancer.
Women are least
affected than men, and just like any other forms of cancer, it is more common in older individuals.
