Corero Network Security Appoints CEO
Marty Meyer Takes CEO Reins.
Hudson, MA, Wednesday - August 17, 2011 -- Corero Network Security (CNS: LN), a
leading global provider of Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Defense Systems, has named Marty Meyer as
Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
Meyer joined the company in March 2011 as General Manager and Chief Financial
Officer (CFO).
Meyer?s appointment follows the acquisition of Top Layer Security by Corero,
announced in February 2011, the first step in the execution of Corero?s strategy to
build a security systems business focused on the network security market.
Top Layer
subsequently rebranded as Corero Network Security.
