Hollywood actor Shin Koyamada has been cast in the lead role of stage play ?Aino
Shizuku? during the opening ceremony of Japan?s 25th National Cultural Festival,
Okayama 2010.
Okayama, Japan, April 23, 2010 -- Hollywood actor Shin Koyamada, star of The Last
Samurai, has been cast in the lead role of Makibi in the 90 minutes stage play ?
Aino Shizuku? during the opening ceremony of Japan?s 25th National Cultural
Festival, Okayama 2010.
The event, which is jointly hosted by the Agency for
Cultural Affairs of the Government of Japan with the Okayama Prefectural Government
of Japan, will be held in the Momotaro Arena on October 30, 2010.
Koyamada says, ?The National Cultural Festival is a very historical and significant
festival that promotes Japanese culture to domestic and international audiences.
I
feel privileged and honored to be part of such an important goodwill event that
shares our cultural heritage.
