Service ends when the guest has left the premises The Farewell is as important as the greeting. It is your last chance to influence your guest’s decision on whether or not he will return. • Continue service until guests prepare to leave. • Continue to pour water or other beverages. • Assist guests leaving/ Bid Farewell • Assist guest with chair and/or belongings, and lead guest to entrance • Thank guests for dining with us • Invite guests to come back again, sincerely, and with a smile. • Return to table, inspect immediately. Clear and reset if required. • Check for guest items, pens, wallets, bag etc. • Clear all the soiled dishes, linen, and cutleries • Wipe table and reset table setting if required.
