A cavalcade of stars will line up to perform
at a GLBTI all-star benefit concert for
victimsoftheQueenslandflooddisaster.
Flood Light will be held at Slide on
Sunday, January 23.
The concert was put
together by Sydney performer and Bette
Midler impersonator Catherine Alcorn
who wanted to do something positive to
helpournorthernneighbours.
Alcorn sent an email to industry friends
last week to gauge interest in participating
inanevent,andawokethenextmorningto
aflurryofinterestintheproposal.
“It’s gone viral overnight.
It’s turning
into quite a musical theatre industry
event, which is fabulous,” she told the Star
Observer.
Flood Light will feature performances
from X Factor host Luke Jacobz, DJ Alex
Taylor and Deni Hines, Bob Downe, Barry
Crocker, Timomatic, Bobby Fox, Lucy
Durack, David Harris, Marika Aubury,
Amelia Cormack, Andy Conaghan,
