The World Forum Lille for a responsible economy
Initiated and presided by Philippe Vasseur, former French Minister, the World Forum Lille is a cycle of international events in which the objective is to make known the "best practices" of companies of all sizes who do business in a responsible way. Spreading these examples and making them contagious is the objective of this forum organised each year in Lille, France by the Alliances network.
It has already gathered 14,000 participants in the first 4 events on diversity (2007), environmental practices (2008), sustainable finance (2009) and the way to the responsible company (2010). This year, company's executives, worldwide recognised CSR experts, students, unions and NGOs coming from all over the world will gather on the 15th, 16th and 17th of November 2011. From the work done during these four years, the World Forum Lille launched the Responsible Company Manifesto based on the sharing of best practices, with a toolbox of 500 examples
