With over 6,000 deaths and 500,000 injuries related to vehicle accidents, everyone
is talking about the problem, from talk show hosts like Oprah and Dr Phil, to the
news media and public service announcements.
Legislatures are imposing laws with
fines and penalties in at least 17 states, with more on the way.
As an example, truck drivers are susceptible to a $2,750 fine for each infraction,
with jail time available to repeat offenders.
While everyone is only talking about
the problem, FDI Voice and FDI Mobile are doing something about the problem and
