KMEX to Support School Charity Fund raising Events
Autism students at Sumiko School will benefit of the KMEX s third annual nationwide fund raising
campaign.
(1888PressRelease) February 09, 2011 - Autism students at Sumiko (Pure Thinking Child)School
will benefit of the KMEX s third annual nationwide fund raising campaign.
Each year, future
professionals across the country spend the months of April through July raising money and
awareness for a collection of charitable causes close to their hearts.
The schools efforts over the
last six years raised nearly $107,000 via cut-a-thons, charitable fashion shows, and a host of other
hands-on, grassroots "FUNraisers.
" This year, the network s goal is $150,000, and KMEX intends
to raise $75,000.
Steven Herington, Board member of KMEX, will start the campaign with cross-country conference
calls for the entire network.
Over 6,500 students and staff members registeredfor direct
involvement
Upcoming events include a Run-a-Thon, Talent Show/A
