Capitalism in crises ?

This six-day intensive course introduces the history of capitalism to the current crisis and the reforms
undertaken within the G20.
The course will give an overview of proposals for reforms to capitalism
(regulation, shareholding, ecological footprint, CSR) and alternative economic visions, such as
cooperatives and third sector approaches, among others.
There is a French version of this course.
This course is intended for members of the public interested in international affairs and the cultures and
peoples of the world, members of NGOs, public office holders, diplomats, journalists and business
managers.
The course is being offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Political Science department.
It
can be taken for credit by graduate students (POL6130) .
