It is with some sadness that I tell you that
this is the LAST North West Newsletter.
At the Extraordinary General Meeting held
in London on 25 January, Making Music
members supported the proposal to
change the way we are structured.
With
effect from 1 July 2011, the North West
and West Midlands regions will
amalgamate to become a new region
under the direct control of a paid Regional
Manager supported by a number of volunteers.
The team of Regional
Managers will be led by the Head of Volunteer Management, Peter
Stokes, based in Central Office and already in post.
So, after editing this final Newsletter, I just wish to thank all those
contributors and members of the North West Committee, without which
these newsletters would not have been possible.
Future communications will most likely be in the form of ebulletins.
