HighnotesIssue 15 • February 2011 We are excited to announce the Making Music Overture, Making Music s London 2012 inspired project. The Making Music Overture is a new work that we hope will become as well known as Tchaikovsky s 1812 Overture through at least 150 performances by Making Music member groups in the run-up to the Olympic Games in 2012. This is your chance to take part in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic celebrations, wherever you are in the UK. An opportunity to form new partnerships, reach new audiences, benefit from publicity, and to invite local audiences to celebrate with you.
