Alpha Immobiliare is the first public contribution Fund ever launched in Italy and the first real estate Fund to be listed on Milan Stock Exchange. Alpha was created in 2001, through the contribution by INPDAP of a real estate portfolio comprised of 26 properties, mostly for office use; the Fund Units were listed in July 2002, after an IPO mostly addressed to retail investors.
Alpha initial asset value was worth around € 259.7 mn split into 103,875 units of nominal value € 2,500 each; this total amount acknowledged a 20% discount on estimated asset value of the contributed portfolio, worth € 308.4 mn.
