Tax Treaty Developments in 2010
During the year 2010 several tax treaty developments took place in the Netherlands.
The
most important, in alphabetical order, can be summarized as follows:
Hong Kong A new tax treaty was signed and is yet to be agreed on
by the respective Parliaments in order to become effective.
Japan A new tax treaty was signed.
It is expected to come
into effect in 2012.
Panama A new tax treaty was signed.
It is expected to come
into effect in 2012.
Saudi Arabia A new tax treaty came into effect on 1 January 2011.
