COVER
On the cover: This month’s cover highlights an article by Yasushi Mizumoto, Toshio Deguchi, and
Kelvin Fong that examines the golden proportion of soft tissue facial balance in Japanese women.
Facial golden proportions were assessed from photographs of 3 groups of Asian women: 30
young adults with Class I occlusion, 30 models, and 14 popular actresses.
This third group had
golden proportions for all 7 measurements.
The smiling patient is Stephanie Washburn, treated by
Dr.
J.
Moody Alexander, Arlington, Texas.
