This book is the result of a multidisciplinary course offered by a team of twelve
professors spread over nine universities located in nine différent countries.
These nine catholic universities belong to the International Concil of the
Universities of St. Thomas Aquinas (ICUSTA), an international organization
which comprises some twenty-two members spread all over the world. The an
hundred and fifty students who participated in this course had the opportunity
to learn about and discuss topics related to Globalization such as ethics
and human rights, financial crises, information technology and outsourcing,
migrations, powerty, microcredit and development, environmental sciences
ad sustainability, foreign investment, civil society and democratization
of global governance, multilateralism and regionalism, and sovereignty.
What better way to teach about globalization than globally !
