Francis Festival Blessing of the Animals and Pet Adopt-A-Thon
will Take Place on October 30 & 31
On Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31, the Franciscan Renewal Center will hold
their 17th annual St.
Francis Festival Blessing of the Animals and Pet Adopt-aThon.
In conjunction with the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911), the Festival
expects to help 400 needy animals find their forever homes.
Scottsdale, AZ, August 17, 2010 -- The Franciscan Renewal Center will hold their
annual Adopt-a-Thon and Pet Blessing Event on Saturday, October 30 and Sunday,
October 31 from 10:00 a.
m.
to 3:00 p.
m.
With help from the Phoenix Animal Care
Coalition (PACC911), the event seeks to introduce pets from more than 65 animal
rescue groups to their forever homes.
Visitors to the adopt-a-thon will have a chance to meet cats, dogs, horses, rabbits
and other critters as they consider giving these special animals a second
opportunity to find a loving home.
