THE SOLAR SYSTEM AND THE NASA
The aim of the activities chosen for the Fair was to make kids express what they
learned during the project through three different branches of art (music, literature
and painting).
They were asked to explore everything they could about the Solar
System and the NASA.
We told them that we were going to imagine that the class was
a Space Station from the NASA and that we were investigating a new Solar System
that we had discovered: “NORTHFIELD 3rd FORM SOLAR SYSTEM”.
- MUSIC: We ve learned a new song called “ON THE MOON”
- LITERATURE: We ve read the book The Magic School Bus- Lost in the Solar System
- PAINTING: When we finished reading the story the kids worked on different
activities:
- They created their own planet to have the new Solar System
- They built a mobile of the new Solar System
- They drew something related to the story
- They generated the space station and the rocket
- They reproduced a paint of the real Solar System
