In the depths of the terrible
snow that we all had to endure
in early December, Oxclose
Community School underwent
a full Ofsted Inspection, its
first since 2008.
The school
was visited by a team of five
Inspectors led by one of Her
Majesty’s Inspectors of Schools,
Andrew Johnson.
The team
spent two full days in Oxclose
and inspected every aspect of
the school’s work, including
the provision, the outcomes
and the leadership at Oxclose.
A large amount of their time
over the two days involved the
inspection of a wide range of
lessons across the whole school,
as well as interviewing staff,
governors and the students
themselves.
