Building for the future
The long awaited first stage of
the ‘Building Schools for the
Future’ Project has already been
completed and phase two is
well underway.
Phase one was
the building of the independent
learning centre.
The walls have
been knocked down, replaced
and knocked down again.
It
should be fully accessible at the
end of the Easter holidays (by
then the roof should be on).
Giving the problem that occurred at
the beginning of the year when
we had a series of delays, the
building process has gone surprisingly well and things are well
on course for the second phase.
Phase two is the Performing Arts centre.
It has been
built for performance purposes,
such as drama, dance and music.
Several large and small practice
rooms are situated around the
centre, which can be used for a
variety of purposes, whether it be
acting, dancing or band practice.
