Two of the UK film and television industries? ?unsung hero? organisations met in
London recently to discuss the roles of location manager, production manager and
the problems facing the industry in the economic downturn.
London, UK July 04, 2009 -- The UK?s film and television industry is facing
difficult times.
Traditionally seen as one of the less severely affected
businesses in times of economic downturn, film and television production budgets
are now also under considerable pressure, meaning fewer programme commissions,
fewer jobs and tight budgetary constraints for those who are lucky enough to be in
a job.
For location and production managers from members of London-based Location
Collective and The PMA, the opportunity to share experiences of recent difficulties
