Bend, Oregon, June 13, 2012 -- The NorthWest Crossing Hullabaloo, a popular
Bend, Oregon street festival being held this year on June 29, is kicking off
summer in style with headline musical act, Storm Large.
Large, who is based in
Portland, appeared on the television show Rock Star: Supernova in the mid-2000s
and America fell in love with her irreverent attitude and soulful, powerful
voice.
She?s worked in an appearance at the Hullabaloo, as most of her summer
will be spent touring with Pink Martini.
Large, who recently published a book of her memoirs called Crazy Enough,
released a CD of the same name a couple of years ago.
Her 20-plus year musical
career has been marked by her vocal range and power, her commanding stage
presence and her raw, gutsy attitude.
