Bend, Oregon neighborhood will be profiled in Urban Land Institute book to be
released in fall 2009
Bend, Oregon, May 07, 2009 -- NorthWest Crossing, Central Oregon?s largest mixeduse neighborhood, announced that it was selected as a finalist in the 2009 Urban
Land Institute?s (ULI) Awards for Excellence program.
NorthWest Crossing was one of
only 25 developments to be named as a finalist, and hosted a visit from a ULI judge
last month.
As a finalist, the Bend, Oregon community will be featured in a new
book entitled Best Practices in Development: 2009 Award Winning Projects, which
will be released at the ULI fall conference in November 2009.
ULI also plans to publicize all finalists in an issue of Urban Land magazine, as
well as on its Web site at www.
uli.
org.
The final award winners were announced last
month at the ULI?s Spring Council Forum in Atlanta, where NorthWest Crossing was
featured in a video presentation during the awards ceremony.
