Dickerson was not expecting to win, and even after
being crowned, she explained that she thought Samantha Kanode was going to
win.

privilege.
” Dickerson happily
stated that she is looking forward to coming back in 10 years to crown the 2018-2019
queen.
In order to be nominated for a Homecoming Maid, the girls must be involved in
school, and this is something that Dickerson knows a lot about.
She is a member of the
Foreign Language Club, Beta Club, Sound of Pride, and Colorguard, so she can be seen
all around the school.
She previously ran track for THS and is thinking about trying out
for softball this year.
“This is my last year, so I need to make it good and be involved
more than ever.
”
Saturday night, as Terrebonne took the stage, Charles Cook, Jr.
was crowned king.
Cook was very surprised to hear his name announced as our Homecoming King.
“I
thought that Darion [Jones] was going to win,” he stated.
Cook shobbiesinclude:playingfootball,fishing,andhunting.

“I love Disney movies,” he
stated.
He is involved in football and used to play the tuba in the band, until he decided
his freshman year that the band was not for him.
Cook is thinking about trying out for
baseball and possibly throwing shotput or javelin in track this year.
His plans for after
graduation are still undecided, but he will either attend Nicholls State University and
play football or join the Navy.
When asked about her king, Queen Jasmine Dickerson just smiles and says, “I love
my king.
