he graduates from Terrebonne in

How did Stein manage to
graduate college before completinghighschool? Heparticipatedin
dual enrollment, officially named
theEarlyStartProgram,sponsored
byFletcherTechnicalCommunity
College.
Dual enrollment allows
students to attend college courses
andearncreditforbothhighschool
and college at the same time.
"Ihearditwasagoodprogram,
and I wanted to get started on
my college [career] as soon as I
could," stated Stein.
He opted to
take dual enrollment classes during his junior and senior years,
and it paid off big time for him.
InDecember2008,Steinreceived
enoughcreditstoearnhistechnical
diploma in Marine Diesel Technology.
Once he completes high
school, he has his choice of many
job offers with a starting salary of
over $30 an hour.
