Generation, Matures and Radio Babies, are divided into two groups: 1) G. I. Generation: Born between 1901 and 1925. The G. I. Generation fought two world wars and survived the Great Depression. Civic virtue is important to this group and is expressed by participation in churches, clubs, and community activities. 2) Silent Generation: Born between 1926 and 1945. Some of them were too young to remember to remember the Depression; others were too young to fight in World War II. Nonetheless, they were influenced by the patriotism and self‐sacrifice that typified their time. They have a strong allegiance to law, order and faith – pillars of a stable society. I mean the first-ever YGL Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser! Kicked off at the National Building Museum on April 19, 2008, we had 88 eager participants for a total of 21 teams competing. After registration contestants put their heads together to decipher clues leading to great sights all over D. C. After two and a half hours, sweaty teams rested at Bar Louie for some well deserved free food and discounted beverages while the clues were reviewed and points totaled. Eight teams had over 200 points and were reviewed by the judges. First, second and third place prizes were awarded to: 1. Obligated to Play 2.
