Sail plan 2011 and 2012
The preliminary sail plan to Hawaii and further on to the Americas is outlined below.

voyage to Hawaii is stipulated in the Charter to buy agreement and the Milestones needs to be

Sail plan 2011 and 2012 The preliminary sail plan to Hawaii and further on to the Americas is outlined below. The voyage to Hawaii is stipulated in the Charter to buy agreement and the Milestones needs to be fulfilled to participate. The Voyage to the Americas is voluntary and each Society can choose to return home or continue after Hawaii. The Societies that decide to continue the voyage will have their financial obligations towards ONP as outlined in the Charter to buy agreement (the cost of the vaka) postponed to a new agreed date between the paries. ONP will support the canoes that continue the voyage with crew changes (see below), escort vessels, visa and port administration costs, core crew, skipper and full provisioning. ONP is expecting the societies to look for additional funding to help cover costs during the voyage as well as preparing financially for the Voyaging Societies full takeover of the canoes post voyage. ONP will pay for 5 crew changes for 10 crew/canoe durin
